Duowan AIUR SCII Master (ASM) Rules & Regulations 1. General 1.1The Duowan AIUR SCII Master (ASM) is a StarCraft II Beta 1on1 tournament. Every participant must own a StarCraft II Beta Account to participate. 1.2Game speed: Faster 1.3Game Winner: the player who completely destroys their opponent or if their opponent surrenders 1.4Judgment of forfeit: The player who doesn’t check in to the referee in 20 minutes of his own match will results in a forfeit. 1.5Race Selection: Free Choice, Random is allowed. Players are not allowed to change his race when in cunt seconds. 1.6Players who join the ASM need to enter their Battle.net account in the profile. Without a valid Battle.net account you are not eligible to participate in this tournament. 1.7 The tournament will be played via ASIA Battle.net.And the players who have an ASIA StarCraft II Beta key have the rights to join ASM but there mustn’t be a terrible connecting problem for the participant when playing in the ASM. 2. Tournament 2.1 Before TR-Victory (More than 16 players remain) use BO1 (Best of One) as regulation, map is set by ASM committee. 2.2 TR-Victory (16 Players remain) use BO3 (Best of Three) as regulation. Both players of the match select a map from above list for remove, and judge select first map from the rest of 5 maps, the side been defeated select map for next match. Must NOT from used or removed of the list. 2.3 In the Final Eight uses BO5 (Best of Five) as regulation. Both players of the match select a map from above list for remove, and judge select first map from the rest of 5 maps, the side been defeated select map for next match. Must NOT from used or removed of the list. 2.4 The final uses BO5 (Best of Five) as regulation. Judge select the first map, and in the rest of the match, the player had been defeated from previous game select map for next match. Must NOT from used maps of the list. 2.5 If a match cannot be played because of undisclosed reasons a referee has to be consulted. In case a player is not online a referee has to be consulted as well. If a player does not show up until 20 minutes after matchstart a default loss will be assigned to the waiting player. 3. Hosts 3.1 One of both players has to host the match. 3.2 If the host picks the wrong map, the match will be replayed with the correct map. In case a both players agree on the played map a protest after the game will be turned down. 4. Maps 4.1 The following maps are part of the map pool: -Metalopolis -Kulas Ravine -Lost Temple -Desert Oasis -Blistering Sands -Scrap Station -Steppes of War -Xel'Naga Caverns -Delta Quadrant 5. Replays 5.1 Replays played by the players in ASM belong to team ASM and players are NOT allowed to public the replays when play in ASM by any way and players will get terrible punished if we confirm that players in ASM have public the replays. 5.2 The replays are the evidence to judge the qualification so the winner has the duty to send replays to asm@chinaduo.com after every match. If a player is not able to send out his emails, he might be disqualified or punished. 5.2 Replays have to be saved until the tournament is finished. 6. Punishment 6.1 Inadequate behavior and delaying the tournament will be punished immediately! 6.2 Insults and unfair or disrespectful behaviour towards referees and other tournament participants are not tolerated and will be punished with immediate disqualification. 7. Referees 7.1 Players have to obey the instructions of the referees. 7.2 Protests have to be reported to the referees only. 7.3 Any breach of the rules might be punished with a default loss or a disqualification. 7.4 The Duowan AIUR SCII Master (ASM) rules can be changed or expanded by the organizers at any point. The responsible referees have the possibility to change, modify, or reinterpret the rules at their own discretion. 8. Disconnects 8.1 Disconnection: any connection loss between opponents due to system, network, PC, and/or power problems/issues. 8.2 Intentional disconnection: any connection loss between opponents due to a player’s actions. Upon judgment by the referee, the offending player may be charged with a default loss. 8.3 When any disconnection occurs: 8.3.1 If a disconnection occurs within 5 minutes from the start of the match, the match must be restarted. 8.3.2 If a disconnection occurs after 5 minutes from the start of the match, one of the following solutions may be adopted: - If both players agree to a match restart, the match will be restarted. - If the players cannot reach an agreement, the winner will be determined by the scores which are in the lead more than 20%; if not, the match will be restarted. - If the winner cannot be decided by analyzing the match replay, the players must agree to a match restart or forfeit the match. 9. Unfair play The following actions will be considered unfair play: 9.1 The use of any cheat program and/or map hack program. 9.2 An intentional disconnection 9.3 The use of any settings exceeding the standard and permitted settings 9.4 Any “unnecessary chatting” during the match. “Unnecessary chatting” means any chatting other than the cases listed below: 9.4.1. Greeting messages between the players; 9.4.2. Repeat of “P” to request for a pause during a stage match; 9.4.3. A signal for the loss (i.e.: .gg. .GG. or any other message that the referee can use to decide the winner); 9.4.4. Chatting between players that do not violate the unsportsmanlike behavior clause; 9.4.5. Any message that the referee can judge as part of the game. 10. Cheats & Barring 10.1 The use of cheats, maphacks or third-party-tools is strictly forbidden and will result in an immediate disqualification from currently running and future cups! 10.2 It is forbidden to listen to shoutcasts of your own games during the match. 10.3 Participating players who are barred in other leagues may also become barred in any tournament of Duowan. 10.4. The tournament administration reserves itself the right to barr players from the tournament who are barred in other leagues because of cheating or unfair behaviour cheating. 11. Legal process Legal proceedings are not permitted. |
